North Alabama's Department of Women's Ministries The purpose of Women's Ministries is to enable women to grow in the knowledge of Christ and to fulfill their respective responsibilities to their family, church and community. Women's Ministries is organized both on the local, district, national, and international levels. This ministry is service oriented and encourages service within the local church, community and mission fields at home and abroad. Women's Ministries encourages spiritual growth, personal development and leadership among women. Women's Ministries provides a variety of programs for women of all ages. Prayer is the number one priority in Women's Ministries of the Congregational Holiness Church." |
Ministers' Wives Fellowship: "Heart to Heart Ministries is the ministers' wives fellowship in the Congregational Holiness Church. It exists to provide support, fellowship and training for the minister’s wife. Its goal is to help the wife of the minister find her own unique and God-given place by her husband’s side as the wife of a pastor or minister." Ministers' Wives Resources: The Heart to Heart Ministry is a fellowship where ministers’ wives have a friend to share the good, the bad and the ridiculous with. Lady Ministers Fellowship: "The purpose of the Lady Ministers Fellowship is to encourage, challenge, equip, and train women ministers to serve within the church and kingdom of God within their gifted areas of ministry. Its goal is to train women ministers to minister with an accountability to their pastor as well as their district and national leaders. Women ministers are encouraged to maintain fellowship with one another, pray for one another, and to do all possible to win souls to Jesus Christ. Our commission is found in Luke 4:18,19, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” The Lady Ministers Fellowship is directed by Rev. Missionettes Girls' Ministry: "The goals of Missionettes are to win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance, to train girls in Biblical principles of discipleship, to assist girls in developing spiritually and mentally, to provide encouragement, support, and accountability through Christian relationships, and to provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and talents." The Missionettes ministry trains girls to become soul winners. Missionettes is organized on the local, district, and national levels. Missionettes ministry is administered by Tonya Cook, National Director. |
