NA CHChurch CAMPGROUND RULES

This is the "discipline" that governs the activities and the property of the Piedmont Springs Campground.

They also set the rules and code of  personal conduct for all individuals attending the activities or services while at the campground.

We are very proud of our campground and  have went to great lengths to preserve it as a safe haven of worship for the past 78 years!

As other denominations are closing their campground's and are no longer having the yearly week long series of meetings,

we are determined, now more than ever, to continue the tradition set forth by our

founding father's by having worship services, food and lodging available for campers and fellow believers from

from the great state of Florida to the beautiful Oklahoma territory and all of the states in between.

Come and join us on July 23-30, 2010 for 8 days of  worship and fellowship!

"Tobacco use of any kind is strictly prohibited anywhere on the campground"

Greetings Camper,

"We, as the governing body for the campground, want everyone to enjoy their stay while on the grounds of the North Alabama Congregational Holiness Church. Due to some issues that have been brought to our attention, it was decided that a list of “Ground Rules” would be published for our visitor's, camper's and cabin owner's to follow. The list will be sent to each church secretary, published on the website, a copy given to each camper who rents a room and each cabin owner will receive one also."

The following will not be allowed at the campground:

 (1) Fireworks of any type (Bottle rockets, firecrackers, sparklers ect).

 (2) Anything with wheels with the exception of vehicles or motorized carts driven by handicap individuals or authorized users for said vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, shoe skates. Four wheelers are NOT authorized for use either.

(3) We believe that there is a time and place for all things and we are not the fashion police, but “Sunbathing” is strictly prohibited by anyone while on the campground. We believe in the modesty apparel aspect of our doctrine.

(4)Since our discipline prohibits it, Tobacco usage will be prohibited at our campground. This is not limited to cigarettes, but also includes smokeless tobacco. (Tobacco in any form is prohibited)

We do not have, nor will have, a smoking area!

This includes the caretaker or anyone else coming onto the grounds during the week of campmeeting.

(5) Due to complaints about noise and feces, the committee has decided unanimously to not allow pets of any kind on the campground during the week of campmeeting. This includes the pets of cabin owners/RV operators and the caretaker.

(6) Children may use the washable, colored chalk to draw on the pavement as long as it is not used on the walls or picnic tables in the snak stand area. There is a playground that is provided for the children. Please feel free to make use of it.

 (7) A curfew is set at midnight (12am/2400hrs) for all campers and visitors except well-meaning adults who may be visiting with other campers and security personnel patrolling the grounds.

 (8) While we enjoy our  music, others may not be as enthused as we are be about the music we listen to (Even some gospel music) , so Boom boxes, Radios, vehicle stereos, mp3 players, ect whose volume is set to a level as to allow others in the immediate area to hear the sounds will not be allowed.

This does not include individuals who may wish to have an open air (Gospel) singing or preach a (Gospel)sermon in the area of the snak stand. Please keep in mind the privacy of those camping in the rooms near the snak stand.

(9) A 5.00 key deposit is required to rent a room during campmeeting.

(10) The only golf cart/s will be those operated by security personnel which will be members of the campground committee. Cabin owners who make use of their own cart are excluded from this as long as the cart is operated by an adult who is using extreme caution while driving on the roadway. Keep in mind that pedestrians have the right-of-way.

(11) No one is allowed in the sanctuary or cafeteria in between services unless permission has been granted by a member of the committee. This includes singing groups unless permission has been granted.

 (12) The sound booth located in the sanctuary is not to be entered except by the trained operator of said sound system.

Any violation of the above listed rules may result in verbal discipline and/or the camper being asked to leave the premises.

Parents are responsible for the action of their children!!

Parents will be contacted as soon as is possible following any incident in which the child is being unruly.

Any three members of the campground committee will make up the three member committee that will decide the proper action to be taken in the event the rules are not followed. The members have been given full authority to take action in the event there is an infraction of said rules.

{Please note that the above listed rules were not formulated to punish

campers, but that a more safe environment, for all of our campers, could be achieved}
